Do you want an iPhone but are unsure which model to choose? This comparison will help you make a decision.
Apple’s 13th generation smartphone was released in September 2021. It included the iPhone 13, 13 Pro, and 13 Pro Max. These devices joined the iPhone 12, 12 mini, 13 Pro Max, and 13 Pro Max that are still available on Apple’s website.
Apple’s new SE 3 version was also introduced in March 2022. It is the successor to the iPhone SE 2.
You can see that choosing the right iPhone is not an easy task, as there are many options in the Apple catalog.
Many die-hard iPhone fans would prefer the latest iPhone with the best features.
Many others don’t have the budget or don’t want a Pro model. It is important to consider what is most important before making a purchase.
This article will help you choose the iPhone that suits your needs and fits your budget.
We have considered their age, size, performance, battery life, price, and other factors.
iPhone 13: The complete

The iPhone 13 features the same as the iPhone 13 mini but at a slightly higher price.
The screen size and battery are the main differences between the 13 and 13 mini. The iPhone 13 and the iPhone 12 are a better comparison, but they still come at a lower price.
We believe the iPhone 13 offers a lot and is worth the extra cost. The iPhone 13 has a smaller display, improved 5G connectivity, and an additional two hours of battery life. There is also a faster A15 chip, which provides 19 hours of video playback.
Additionally, even though the specs of the iPhone 13 camera look identical on paper, there are significant improvements to the iPhone 13’s camera, including optical image stabilization via sensor shift, larger image sensors, and photographic styles, as well as a cinematic mode.
Its main lens and its ultra-wide angle lenses have some consistency. They are supported by optical image stability technology called OIS, Deep Fusion processing, and Smart HDR 4 correction.
You can choose from 128, 256, or 512 GB of memory.
iPhone 13 Pro- The best for photos

Apple has removed the iPhone 12 Pro from its website. There is no reason to wonder which iPhone to choose between the iPhone 13 Pro and its successor, the iPhone 13 Pro.
If you are looking for a Pro model with unique features, we recommend the Pro Max or 13 Pro.
The Pro’s notch is 20% smaller than the 13 and 13 mini. It has more features than the 12 Pro, but that does not make it stand out.
This new flagship features a stunning camera setup and its 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR screen, enhanced with Apple’s 120Hz ProMotion technology and Apple’s 5nm Apple A15 Bionic chips.
These lenses feature brighter lenses, a 6x optical zoom, and new cinematic modes that allow for unique photographic styles.
It also gets an upgraded battery that promises up to 22 hours of video playback.
The iPhone 13 Pro also offers 1TB storage for the first-ever time.
iPhone 13 Pro Max-The best for gaming

The iPhone 13 Pro’s Pro-Max version is the same. They are identical in specs, unlike the 2020 models, which could be distinguished only by their cameras.
The biggest difference between Pro Max and Pro Max versions of the Pro range is their screen sizes. The latter version is for you if you need a screen that measures at least 6.7 inches.
Other advantages include long battery life and a triple 12MP rear lens, which excels in everyday photography, as well as the A15 Bionic processor and 6GB RAM.
It supports 5G, just like the previous generation. This will allow for faster connection speeds.
iPhone 12 – A good compromise

The iPhone 12 is the mid-range model in the new iPhone generation. It’s, therefore, most likely to be the best option.
Although it has 5G connectivity and a stunning 460 ppi display, the Pro Max does not have the same brightness.
The configuration of its rear sensors is what makes it cheaper. It is a duo, not a trio. We also lose the 12 Pro’s telephoto lens. The LiDAR scanner is missing, which is useful for night shots.
If you don’t mind that or consider the price of the other models too high, the standard iPhone 12 might be for you.
iPhone 13 Mini – The Best Small iPhone

Apple’s iPhone 13 mini attempts to fix the problems with its iPhone 12 mini. It includes a larger battery and a smaller screen.
Other features make the mini more appealing than its 2020 counterpart. These include a 20% smaller notch and 5G. But most importantly, you can record video like a pro with the new 1080p Cinema mode at 30 frames per second.
The iPhone 12 mini is less expensive than the iPhone 13 mini. However, it has twice the memory starting at the beginning (128 GB).
iPhone 12 Mini – Less than the 13 mini

The 12 mini has a new screen of 5.4 inches and a lower price, but it packs an impressive feature set that matches almost the iPhone 12 in nearly every way.
Two features that are affected by screen size are battery life and screen size. This is claimed to be about 15 hours.
It’s also the cheapest iPhone 2020 that supports 5G and ships the A14 chip. This is the most cost-effective way to get them on iOS.
iPhone 11: The most affordable high-end model

The iPhone 11 is the only survivor of this generation, and it’s extremely attractive due to a substantial price reduction.
The LCD screen is in place of OLED from the Pro range, with two photo sensors.
The XR is no longer available, but it succeeds and has many improvements. Although it does not have the most recent generation of processors, the A13 is still powerful and fast.
It has two 12M lenses, a night mode, and next-gen HDR. The 4K video is also a significant improvement.
The 11 has a longer battery life and is more resistant to water than the XR, and there are also different color options.
iPhone SE 2020 – The best value

The SE 2020 is simple but powerful. It is fast, affordable, and has a powerful camera sensor.
The A13 Bionic chip in iPhones is faster than any other component. Although it is limited to 3GB RAM, the SE can run more demanding applications.
Apple had to make other compromises to reach this price point. The design is six years six-years-old. The screen is small, has black borders, and is touch-based rather than face identification.
Although it is still respectable, battery life is shorter than other iPhones. The last accommodation is that there is no night mode.
The iPhone SE is a great value overall.
The third generation was released in March 2022 and had 5G. However, it does not support the superfast, short-range mmWave band. It is otherwise identical to its predecessor.
Best iPhone Buying Tips
Are you looking for the perfect iPhone for you and your budget? These are some questions to ask before you buy an iPhone.
One thousand questions to ask
Which screen size is best for you? How much storage do you require? To save Money, should you opt for an older model? Do you need a single rear-facing camera? Do you need to wait for the new iPhones?
The best size screen
This is a difficult one. There are four screen sizes for iPhone models currently being marketed by Apple:
Phone 13 Pro: 6.1 Inches
iPhone 13 Pro Max: 6.7 inches
iPhone 13: 6.1 inch
iPhone 12: 6.1 inch
iPhone 13 mini: 5.4 in
iPhone 12 mini: 5.4 in
iPhone 11: 6.1 inch
iPhone SE: 4.7 inch
Your preferences will determine the size of your iPhone. A larger screen can offer better readability and gaming experiences, for example. But this comes with a price. The larger the screen is, the more expensive it will be. You’ll likely have to compromise, regardless of whether it’s a large or older screen (XR).
Perhaps you are one of those people who value portability. Apple dropped the 4-inch iPhone SE (2016). The band released two new, slightly larger editions in 2020 and 2022 that offer great value for Money.
The right amount of storage
Every iPhone has 2 or 3 storage options. It would be best if you thought about this before you spend Money. iPhones don’t have a microSD slot.
The minimum 64GB storage is enough for most users. So think twice before buying a model with more.
Also, we recommend you check your iOS device’s current usage to get a better idea of your actual needs. (Settings – General – iPhone Storage).
Where and when to buy your next iPhone.
We recommend waiting until Apple’s Keynote events if you are planning on buying a new iPhone. These events usually take place in September/October. The brand unveils new phones during these Keynote events. These models are then released, which results in a drop in the price of the older ones.
